Measure V Committee
Measure V Sales Tax Budget Oversight Committee
Pursuant to City Ordinance Section 32-77 approved by the voters on November 8, 2005, the Mayor and City Council each annually appoint one member of the public to serve as an oversight committee for the revenue that the City receives from the tax enacted by City Code Chapter 32, Article VII. The committee prepares an annual report on the revenue received and recommends the use thereof.
Committee members must be eligible City voters. The term of office is one year and Committee members are eligible for reappointment by Councilmembers.
Meeting Schedule
The Committee establishes its meeting schedule for each calendar year. The 2009 meeting schedule follows and is subject to change. Meetings are at 4:00 p.m. at City Hall, 200 Lincoln Avenue, Salinas. Call (831) 758-7420 for general information or questions regarding agendas/minutes.

- January 27, 2009 - Joint Meeting with the City Council
