Composting Workshop & Compost Giveaway

The City of Salinas in partnership with Salinas Valley Solid Waste Authority and Republic Services invites the community to join us for free composting workshops where you'll learn to turn your kitchen scraps into garden compost. There'll also be a compost giveaway, so bring a sturdy bucket or container, shovel, and gloves to take free compost that has been created from organic recycling from our community's green curbside bins. 

The event is free and will be hosted in English and Spanish.
