Lincoln Avenue Corridor

Lincoln Avenue is located in Downtown Salinas, just two blocks from Main Street.  It is currently mostly occupied by government buildings and street-level parking.  The City's Downtown Vibrancy Plan envisions the corridor being transformed to accommodate a new Civic Center, a parking garage, and mixed-use development.

The City issued a Request for Qualifications and identified three qualified developers; the City subsequently issued a Request for Proposals, and received one response from Borelli Investment Group.  That response may be found here.

A presentation by representatives of Borelli Investment Group will be held at 11:30 am Thursday, January 23rd, in the West Wing Conference Room at Salinas City Hall at 200 Lincoln Avenue.  Questions and feedback from the public will be accepted at this presentation.  To accommodate this meeting, the City has extended the deadline by which it will accept written comments from the public on the RFP Response until 5:00 pm on January 31, 2019.  Comments should be submitted to Andrew Myrick, Economic Development Manager, at the Administration Department in Salinas City Hall (200 Lincoln Avenue) or by email by clicking here: [email protected]
