Our City Services
Government can seem confusing, but really, it comes down to this: we serve you.
Much of our service is in keeping people safe. That’s why we have a Police Department, a Fire Department, and a Community Safety Division, which focuses on building healthier, safer neighborhoods.
Much of our service is in keeping things working. That’s why we have a Public Works Department, which looks after our roads, water system, and other infrastructure.
And much of our service is in helping things grow, whether it’s neighborhoods, through our Community Development Department, the economy through our Economic Development Department, or our people, through our Library and Community Services Department.
