Volunteer of the Month:
Liz Senteney

We are so pleased to announce Liz Senteney as the February Volunteer of the Month at Salinas Animal Services!  She has been a volunteer for over 5 years, coming in weekly if not multiple times in a week, to help with various needs around the shelter.  Liz has a big heart for animals and has rescues of her own.

Liz knows that shelter dogs and cats have a better chance at adoption if their web photos are professional and attractive.  With her amazing photography skills, Liz takes pictures each week of our animals and enhances them so that our customers will see a positive depiction of each individual. This is an incredible contribution to saving animals’ lives!  Check out and see the lovely photos she has taken.

“Liz is so sweet, and fun, and great company here at the shelter!”

“Liz faithfully comes to Salinas weekly to take beautiful photos of our homeless animals to post on our website.  These photos are instrumental in helping our dogs and cats appeal to the public and find just the perfect life-long home.  Many people search the internet to find pictures of animals when considering adoption.  Thank you from all the staff and animals who have found their homes due to your dedication, Liz.”

Thank you Liz!
