The day’s events also included a presentation by Joel Carnes, President & CEO of the Alliance for Innovation, as well as a panel discussion on community engagement with City Manager of Monterey Hans Uslar, City Manager of Santa Cruz Martin Bernal, Recreation and Community Services Superintendent Kristan Lundquist with the City of Salinas, and Salinas Planning Manager Lisa Brinton. The Summit concluded with sessions lead by Lena Geraghty, Senior Implementation Advisor at GovEx and Kevin Knutson, Vice President of ENVISIO.

The summit was a platform that brought together over 50 participants throughout the region to engage and learn what successful innovation looks like in other jurisdictions.
