Since the launch of the SalinasConnect (QAlert) service request management system on March 20, 2018, the City has received  almost 5,500 requests for service with 82% of those requests completed. The program allows residents to report directly to the City, 24-hours a day through the City of Salinas website or using the SalinasConnect free mobile app. By reporting through SalinasConnect, the system will route your request directly to the Department or staff that handles that specific issue type. There are a wide range of issue types from tree issues, to vehicle issues, to code violation issues. The web version of SalinasConnect also provides residents with a catalog of Knowledge Base Articles that share valuable information and resources with our community.

Submitting a request is an easy 4-step process. Here is what we need to know:

  1. What - What type of issue are you reporting?
  2. Where - Where is the issue?
  3. Details - Provide a description of the issue.
  4. Submit your request!
