The California Institute for Rural Studies (CIRS) is hiring interviewers for a farmworker survey this summer in the Salinas valley and Pajaro valley. The survey information about housing needs will inform the Farmworker Housing Study and Action Plan. The Study is coordinated by the City of Salinas in partnership with the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments, Monterey County, Santa Cruz County, and the cities of Greenfield, Gonzales, King, Soledad and Watsonville.

Required qualifications for the interviewers in the Job Description (see attachment) include bilingual Spanish/English in speaking and writing, drivers’ license, detail oriented, and comfortable with conducting interviews.
