Salinas PAL Soccer Teams are State Champs!

The Salinas Police Activities League recently participated in the 2019 California PAL State Cup Soccer Tournament held in Oxnard, Ca. on June 26-29th. Salinas PAL teams competed in two divisions, the U-13 and U-15. Both teams have an enormous amount of talent, enthusiasm and dedication.

There were talented teams competing in the tournament from many different parts of California and after it was all said and done BOTH our Salinas PAL teams went undefeated on their way to capturing the state title in their respective divisions.

Congratulations are in order to all the players, coaches and parents who made it possible. Great job by School Resource Officer Lino Sanchez, Julio Sanchez and the entire coaching staff. They all received well deserved recognition during the city council meeting on July 2.

Salinas PAL continues to promote FREE youth programs throughout the year such as an upcoming Youth Soccer Clinic to be held at the Alisal High School Stadium on July 30-31 from 9am to 12 pm. The clinic is open to 125 boys or girls ages 5-13.

To register, please email our PAL program coordinators at: programs [at] ()

Once again. Congratulations to our Salinas PAL soccer teams for bringing the championship trophies home!
