Salinas PD Welcomes New Officers

Salinas Police Department welcomed seven new Salinas PD officers with an Oath of Office ceremony on February 8, 2019 at the Salinas PAL Building. Recruit Officers K’Shante Dela Cuadra, Eduardo Gamboa, Gabriel Garcia and Cameron Lane graduated from the South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium that morning, prior to the ceremony in the afternoon.

Officer Robert Wayman, who is returning home from Huntington Beach PD, and Officer Victoria Ramirez, a lateral officer from the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office, were also sworn in. Officer Richard Macias, who was recently hired and had not yet participated in a ceremony, joined them as well. In addition, recently hired Animal Control Officer Silvia Camacho was also sworn in.
