Alternative Transportation: Bicycling Resources
The Traffic and Transportation Division reviews bicycle-related issues and provides input on bicycle programs/projects within Salinas. Public Works also promotes bicycling through special events held within the City and/or County (such as Bike Month and Ciclovia Salinas) and supports educational and enforcement activities to enhance bicycle safety throughout the community; provides recommendations on bicycle project priorities and safety programs; and manages the development of a bicycle network and City policies which will provide safe bicycling opportunities for all bicycling abilities.
