Please join Councilmembers Scott Davis, Tony Barrera and Steve McShane for a Districts 1, 2 and 3 Neighborhood Clean-Up and Recycling Event. 

  • Saturday, November 7, 2020 
  • 9 am – 12 pm or until the 225 vehicle limit is reached 
  • Madison Lane Transfer Station - 1120 Madison Lane 

 

  • Due to COVID-19 protocols, all event participants MUST unload their own items
  • Face covering required

 

  • All material must be source separated into appropriate containers so arrive with your load organized
  • Only personal vehicles allowed. No U-Hauls, flatbed, dump trucks, large trailers or commercial vehicles
  • ALL trash must be bagged

ACCEPTED ITEMS: Metal appliances (washers/dryers, refrigerators, stoves), Yard waste, Wood, Regular Household Trash, Furniture (sofas, chairs), Mattresses, Plastics, Cardboard and Electronic Waste (TV’S, computers, monitors) and Carpets are ok if cut into 4 foot lengths.

NOT ACCEPTED: Commercial Waste, Construction and Demolition Material (dry wall, sheet rock, concrete, brick, tile, rocks or dirt), Toilets, Sinks, Bathtubs, Medical Waste (syringes, medicine, etc), Household Hazardous Waste, (paint, batteries, motor oil, light tubing, etc) or * Tires.

Salinas Valley Recycles Accepts *FREE Household Hazardous Waste Disposal: All Year Items can be delivered to 139 Sun Street, in Salinas, M-F 8am-5pm, Sat 8am-4pm
