Last week, Officer Livingston met one of his youngest constituents at the Hebbron Family Center, and even let her sit on his motorcycle. Several Salinas Police officers visited the children in the Tiny Tot’s programs at El Dorado Park and Hebbron Family Center on November 5th and 6th.  The officers took the opportunity to teach the children about safety, including "stranger-danger", the importance of wearing seat belts, and what they should do in an emergency.  The children also got a chance to sit in a "real" police car and on a motorcycle.

Special thanks go to Sgt. Gray, Officer Livingston, and the Salinas Police Department for collaborating with the Recreation Division, and for their continued commitment toward community policing and spending quality time with children. These small Tiny Tots are the future of our City!
