Salinas residents can now begin to enjoy their parks with increased access to tennis courts, skate parks and ball fields.  The new guidance issued by the Monterey County Health Officer allows for the opening of these facilities with some limitations, including no league play.  Park users must follow all posted signage, abide by park rules and continue to practice social distancing. High touch equipment like playgrounds, restrooms, picnic tables and barbeque areas remain closed until further notice.

The Salinas Aquatic Center is also now open for family and lap swim, and the Sherwood Tennis Center expects to reopen in July.
