To improve cleanliness for everyone, street sweeping will be improved and more efficient with the addition of no parking signs. From May 5 to July 31, a 90-day warning period will start alerting those who are not abiding by the ‘No Parking’ signs. Vehicles must move on their scheduled street sweeping days and abide by the posted signs to avoid citations.
The City of Salinas is launching a new and improved street sweeping program to reduce debris on the streets and protect our waterways from pollutants. ‘No Parking’ signs have been installed in areas like East Alisal Street, North Main Street, and Williams Road. Streets such as Alma Avenue, Acosta Plaza, and Galindo Street are also included.
