Parks and open space represent the basic foundation of a healthy park and recreation system, providing opportunities for residents of all ages to meet, play, grow and thrive. Salinas’ parks provide residents with a diverse array of active and passive recreational amenities and options. Parks are a place to come together with family and friends, to exercise and play, to learn and explore, and to engage with the City’s landscape, history and culture.

City of Salinas Parks are first-come, first-served. The public must use tables, chairs, and BBQ pits provided. Groups are not allowed to bring in additional tables, chairs and/or BBQ pits.
Bounce Houses are only allowed in specific parks and require a permit. Bounce Houses must be placed in designated areas and provided by a City approved vendor. Please call us at (831) 758-7306 for a list of approved locations, vendors or any additional questions you may have.
