Maddy Act - Local Appointments List
In compliance with the requirements of the Maddy Act, California Government Code Section §54972, the following appointment list of the City of Salinas’ Commission, Board and Committee members is posted on an annual basis by December 31. The City of Salinas encourages residents to apply for positions in efforts to build an applicant pool representative of the entire community. Commissioners, Board Members, and Committee members serve at the pleasure of the legislative body, must be 18 years of age or older, a residents and registered to vote in the City of Salinas. However, there is no residency requirement for members of the Measure G Oversight Committee.
