2025 Salinas Youth and Government Institute: Registration Deadline

Registration is now open! Youth ages 14 to 18, get ready to be inspired and explore local government!

City Council Meetings take place at the Salinas Rotunda at 4pm. Members of the public interested in participating or observing the meeting may now attend in person, via zoom or view online on The Salinas Channel on YouTube or Comcast Channel 25.

Construction Resumes on Boronda Road

Construction on Phase 1 of the Boronda Road Congestion Relief Project has officially resumed following a delay caused by weather conditions. Crews have entered a preparation period to restart the project, focusing on installing drainage systems and relocating underground utilities. The preparation will take place largely outside the existing roadways, resulting in minimal traffic impact.
