Interim Inc. celebrated the Grand Opening of a 17-bed affordable supportive housing project in Salinas, CA.
Sun Rose Apartments includes 8 shared transitional housing units, 9 permanent individual studio units, and a manager's unit. This new permanent supportive facility will provide housing to adults 18+ who may have a mental health disability, are homeless or at-risk of homelessness, and low-income. The City of Salinas awarded this project a total of $1 million dollars, including $500k in CDBG funds and $500k in Housing Successor Agency funds. Interim, Inc. broke ground on this project in August 2021 and construction was completed in September 2023.
